Supply Performance Objectives for Upper Echelons in a Multi-Echelon Supply System.

Abstract

This paper considers what should be the proper supply performance objective for the upper echelon in a multi-echelon supply system which operates as a series of independent single echelon systems. Conclusions are reached about the proper role of unit price in setting individual item performance targets. (Author)
