An Analysis of the Career Transitions of U.S. Army Recruiters.

Abstract

USAREC is striving to improve the personnel/career management of its recruiter force. To assist in this effort, the study of a cohort sample of recruiters was undertaken. Through analysis of the variables that affect career mobility, a Force Analysis Model (FAM) and the conceptual design for an Integrated Personnel Planning and Management System (IPPAMS) were developed. Based on the results of a prototype FAM test, recommendations are made for the future use of the model and its expansion through IPPAMS development. (Author)
