Union Lake Bourbeuse River, Missouri.

Abstract

Union Lake will be located in Franklin County, Missouri. The impoundment will be formed by the construction of a dam on the Bourbeuse River at river mile 32.5 above the confluence of the Meramec and Bourbeuse Rivers. The purposes of the lake are recreation, flood control, water quality, water supply, fish and wildlife, navigation and area development. The lake will have a normal pool of 6,600 acres and a maximum flood control pool of 12,900 acres. (Author)
