Mini-RPV Rocket Launch Tests.

Abstract

This report covers the mini-RPV launch tests conducted at the AFRPL. The rocket motor development program conducted by ARC provided 13 booster motors, five of which were used in the launch tests. The mini-RPVs were launched to a velocity of 65 miles per hour from an aluminum rail or varying lengths (22, 14, 7 and 0 feet), using a nozzleless solid rocket booster. The final test demonstrated the capability of launching the mini-RPV from a platform. (Author)
