Weather Support to the Modern Army

Abstract

The study describes the current support provided to the US Army by the USAF Air Weather Service (AWS) and identify problems of interservice support. In the conclusion it is brought to light how little the US Army leadership knows about the impact of modern systems upon the weapons systems available. Final recommendations are made to increase AWS support the needs of Army 1986.
