References to sanguivorous land leeches of the g. Haemadipsa are difficult to collect since they are poorly cross-referenced and are in obscure journals. We have prepared this review of conditions essential to laboratory colonization of the sanguivorous land leeches to aid other investigators studying these leeches. (Author)
