An Analysis of the Max-Min Texture Measure.

Abstract

The Max-Min texture measure was tested in an auto evaluation experiment and found to be an excellent signature for discriminating among several natural features and for isolating cultural detail from natural detail. This is especially true if the classification results are refined by a relaxation labeling exercise. (Author)
