Applying Photogrammetry to Real Time Collection of Digital Image Data.

Abstract

The practicality of converting digital and stereo image data into terrain elevation data in real time is investigated. Results indicated that the real time collection of elevation data using epipolar correlation methods is not feasible. It is shown that real time mensuration of 7-parallax can be used as a means to help maintain a desired relative orientation in a variety of digital collection system. (Author)
