New Pressure Test for Determining Coefficient of Permeability of Rock Masses.

Abstract

New borehole pressure injection test equipment for determining the coefficient of permeability has been developed that has several improvements over equipment now in common use. This report describes the major components of the new test equipment and the improvements made to both equipment and test procedures for reliable operation and accurate test results. Methods of reporting, analyzing, and interpreting results are also presented. (Author)
