DoD Advanced, Image-Evaluation Program

Abstract

The objective of this program, sponsored under ARPA Order 1938, is the development of uniform image quality measurement techniques and standard procedures that can be used throughout DoD laboratories for determining performance levels of photon-imaging systems. In addition to developing uniform techniques and procedures, the program calls for the development of an advanced, image evaluation facility for use in Image Evaluation Centers of Excellence to be established at selected laboratories throughout DoD.
