Abstract

This supplement describes Phase 1 of the development of a European Economic Impact Forecast System (EEIFS) by the U.S. Army Construction Engineering Research Laboratory (CERL). EEIFS is designed to interface with the EIFS component of CERL's Environmental Technical Information System (ETIS). This supplement describes the data acquisition and pilot model development of an EIFS model which includes statistics to predict the regional economic benefits and impacts of defense-related activities in the Federal Republic of Germany (FRG). User instructions and employment data for the FRG/EIFS data base are given. (Author)
