Advanced Communication System Studies.

Abstract

This report summarizes the work conducted under the grant. The goals of this research were to develop performance models of multi-hop broadcast networks and then utilize these models to suggest optimal routing and control parameters. The authors decided to concentrate their initial effort on the Slotted Aloha access protocol and the generalize to other protocols later. More details can be found in the papers referenced in this report. (Author)
