Research and Development of Methods for Estimating Physicochemical Properties of Organic Compounds of Environmental Concern. Part 1.

Abstract

This report contains selected, evaluated estimation methods for 26 environmentally important physicochemical properties of organic chemicals. The methods selected are applicable to a variety of chemical classes, are easy to use, require a minimum of input data, and are reasonably accurate. Each method has a descriptive text, step-by-step instructions, worked-out examples, and supplementary information allowing the user to estimate the likely uncertainty of an estimated value. Approximately 800 literature references cited. (Author)
