Student Flow Simulation for the Consolidated Navy Electronic Warfare School.
Abstract
This report is a detailed discussion of a computer simulation model that has been developed for the complex student flows and training resources utilization pattern through a multi-track, mixed group-paced and self-paced training curriculum. The model was developed utilizing as a baseline the 1980 curriculum of the Consolidated Navy Electronic Warfare School (CNEWS). The simulation language for alternative modeling (SLAM) was used as the modeling technique. This report provides an insight into using SLAM for multi-path network modeling for a Navy pipeline sequence of courses. (Author)
