Neat Resin Properties of Acetylene Terminated Sulfone Formulated with Commercial Additives
Abstract
Acetylene terminated sulfone (ATS) was formulated with a variety of additives. These additives were selected for potential as coreactants to decrease crosslink density or as elastomeric toughening agents. The object was improvement in the tensile strain to failure of the ATS. No significant toughening was achieved by this approach.
