Feasibility Report for Flood Control, Minnesota River at Chaska, Minnesota,

Abstract

This plan for flood damage reduction and recreation improvements at Chaska consists of a flood bypass channel on East Creek, a diversion channel on Chaska Creek, and levee and interior drainage improvements along the Minnesota River, a recreation trail system, and appropriate floodplain regulation measures. The reaction trails, plantings, and aesthetic treatment of structures should offset adverse defects of the plan, which include relocation of 13 residents. (Author)
