Abstract

This paper explains the critical nature of information flow in organizations using a 'Living Systems' model. It calls for new ways to manage information flow with a recognition that the 'chain of command' cannot be the sole flow channel if effectiveness is the desired outcome. Also discussed is leadership in the context of 'turning information into action'.(Author)
