A New Perspective of Control in Organizations: Behavioral Self-Control.

Abstract

A new perspective of control in organizations is presented. Based on a social learning theoretical foundation, the paper argues that self-control is at the core of the organizational control process. Various levels and sources of control are discussed. (Author)
