Infrared Atmospheric Emission. I.

Abstract

Energy levels and relative strengths for the 4f-5g transition in N i are calculated in the j-l coupling scheme. Excellent agreement is found with our interferometric data from sigma = 2455 to 2505/cm in both positions and intensities. (Author)
