Research in VLSI Systems

Abstract

This report summarizes progress on Research in VLSI Systems, from March 1981 to May 1982. The major areas under investigation are design description and synthesis, testing, and algorithms and architectures. In each area, our aim is to anticipate and to solve problems attendent to VLSI. We introduce the research in detail and discuss progress; we also discuss important practical developments. The bibliography list research papers describes the work in greater depth.
