Refinement and Verification of Predictive Models of Suspended Sediment Dispersion and Desorption of Toxics from Dredged Sediments.

Abstract

Field monitoring, laboratory elutriate and kinetic tests, and mathematical modeling have been performed for dredge operations over a 600-mile stretch of the Mississippi River from Guttenberg, Iowa, to Cairo, Illinois, during 1979-1981.
