Electronic Simulation of the Josephson Effects,

Abstract

An electronic simulator of the Josephson effects is described. The device is based on an analogue phase-locked loop design, and includes the effects of voltage, frequency, temperature, and the superconducting energy gap. Results obtained using the simulator are compared with theory and results obtained from actual Josephson tunnel junctions.
