Transportable Maps Software. Volume I.

Abstract

This report covers the development of a transportable software package in FORTRAN for the MAPS image compression technique. Also included are a user's manual for the developed software, a software maintenance manual, and the software listing. Possession of the report will allow a user to install and operate this software on DEC PDP 11/45, 11/70 and VAX 11/780 processors.
