Tribological Technology. Volume 1

Abstract

The Tribological Technology ASI Lecture Program was designed to develop multidisciplinary tribological technology from a fundamental basis through an applications viewpoint. This development approach consists of eleven discreet lectures. These lectures form the foundation of this text and are organized as follows: (1) Scope of Tribology; (2) Surface Interactions; (3) Surface Interaction Elements; (4) Tribological Failures and Mechanical Design; (5) Tribo-Testing; (6) Monitoring; and (7) Tribological Multidisciplinary Approach.
