Renewable Energy System Feasibility Study

Abstract

A study was performed to determine the economic feasibility of displacing a portion of the electrical energy usage at the Wind tunnel Complex at WPAFB by a renewable energy system. Wind systems, photovoltaic systems and solar thermal systems evaluated using lifecycle cost analysis. Economic feasibility was not found for any of the systems evaluated.
