Life Cycle Training Costs: A Literature Review.

Abstract

Training costs have been an increasing contributor to the life cycle costs of military weapon systems. As the concept of training has broadened and alternative approaches to training have become available through the development of new technologies, the difficulties of determining and projecting training costs have increased. The purpose of this effort was to provide background and materials for use in the construction of a life cycle training costs model for determining the cost of training associated with the life cycle of Navy weapon systems.
