Abstract

The scope of the literature search was directed toward military applications, particularly those dealing with cold injury, adaptation, therapeutic drugs, and rewarming techniques. Clinical and laboratory findings and applicable case histories dealing with the subject of hypothermia in general are included because of their pertinency to the understanding of the problems in treating hypothermic victims.
