KBS: An Expert Planning System for Crisis Response.

Abstract

This final report of the Crisis Management using Rule-Based Systems project describes the goals of the project, the Artificial Intelligence Technology on which it was based, and the results of the project. Knowledge Based Systems use knowledge obtained from planning experts in the Military Services to construct an automated system for planning an Air Show of Force. While the system is automatic, it is also highly interactive and allows close user control. A critique of the existing system and recommendations for future work are included.(Author)
