The Response of the High Latitude Ionosphere to Convection Electric Fields.

Abstract

This report summarizes work done in developing and using a time-dependent computer model of the convecting high-latitude ionosphere to provide maps of the plasma density distribution as a function of latitude, local time, universal time and latitude for ranges of the geophysical parameters of season, geomagnetic activity and solar cycle.
