Joint Logistics Commanders Guide for the Management of Joint Service Programs

Abstract

This update of the Mar 80 Guide was prepared to provide newly assigned managers of joint programs the benefit of some of the hard earned lessons learned by previous managers who have held such positions. The Guide describes the nature of joint programs, how they differ from single-Service programs, which aspects of program management demand greater emphasis than normally accorded single-Service programs, and some of the pitfalls of joint program management. The Guide also contains a lossary of terms and listing of joint service programs.
