Application of Video Multiplexing to Design of Cockpit Display Systems.
Abstract
Video multiplexing plays an important role in the success of the Advanced Integrated Display Program because it facilitates the use of cathode-ray tube displays in the cockpit with extreme simplicity, high reliability, economy of space and weight, unusual flexibility of operation, and easy adaptability to different arrays of aircraft sensors. This report describes and explains the NADC laboratory demonstration of the wide-band frequency-division video multiplex system. (Author)
