The Reinstitution of the Construction of U.S. Navy Combatant Ships in U.S. Government Owned Shipyards.

Abstract

This study considers the question of re-instituting ship construction in Government-owned shipyards in the context of the proposed expansion of the U.S. Fleet embodied in PDM 83. Emphasis is given to the capability to build nuclear combat ships.
