Weymouth Fore River, Weymouth, Braintree, Massachusetts, Small Navigation Project. Detailed Project Report and Environmental Assessment.

Abstract

The results of this study indicate that the most feasible plan of navigation improvement entails dredging a channel, 8,000 feet long and 6 feet deep at MLW. Proposed that dredged material be disposed of at sea at the Boston Foul Area. No major detrimental impacts are foreseen as the result of either the proposed plan of improvement or the disposal of dredge material. Maintenance of the channel will be required every 20 years.
