Cerenkov Maser and Cerenkov Laser Devices.

Abstract

Four documents, which together serve as a review of experimental verification and the theoretical description of stimulated Cerenkov masers, is presented. Multi-hundred KW power levels have been obtained in the longer mm wavelength range and significant power at wavelengths shorter than 1.5 mm have been observed. The relations between resonator dimensions and beam parameters which determine wavelength, gain, and output power, have been established. (Author)
