Mathematical Structure of Electromagnetic Terrain Feature Canopy Models.

Abstract

The primary objective of the work undertaken in this project was to review the mathematical structure and physical concepts inherent in optical electromagnetic vegetation canopy models. New formulations of both reflective and thermal existence models were developed which factor canopy geometric dependent-terms from basic optical properties.
