DoD Ammunition and Explosives Safety Standards

Abstract

These standards are issued under the authority of Title 10 USC 172 and Department of Defense Directive 5154.4, 'The Department of Defense Explosives Safety Board', January 24, 1978. They establish uniform safety standards and policies for development, manufacturing, testing, transportation, handling, storage, maintenance, and demilitarization of ammunition and explosives facilities.
