Abstract

19319A MLRS, Missile Numbers BN-219, BN-193 and BN-180, Round Numbers V-360/PQ-91, V-361/PQ-92 and V-362/PQ-93, were launched from LC-33, White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), New Mexico, at 1500:13, 1500:19 and 1500:25 MST, 08 Nov 82. The scheduled launch times were 1515, 1515:04.5 and 1515:09 MST. Meteorological data were recorded and reduced. Surface: Standard surface observations to include pressure, temperature (Deg C), relative humidity, dew point (deg C), density (gm/m cubed), wind direction and speed, and cloud cover were made at the LC-33 Met Site at T-0 minutes; Anemometer data were provided from existing pole-mounted and tower-mounted anemometers at LC-33. Monitor of wind speed and direction from one anemometer was also provided in the launch control room. Upper Air: Low level wind data were obtained from pilot-balloon observations; Air structures data (rawinsonde) were collected.
