Cold Weather Aerostat Study

Abstract

Aerostats are being considered for application in cold weather regions. A review of aerostat flight experience to date was made to determine the limitations of the current technology. Areas for improvements and modifications to extend the aerostat system cold weather survivability/ operability were also made.
