SIFT: SWIC Implementation of Front-End Tools.

Abstract

SIFT, the SWIC Implementation of Front-end Tools, is a set of four statistics generation, collection, and display routines developed under the C2 CONCAP project in support of the Survivable Warning Information Concept (SWIC). These routines were written in FORTRAN IV-Plus for use on the RSX-11M operating system and are currently operational on a PDP-11/70. This paper presents the functional capabilities embodied by SIFT along with a detailed description of the data mapping process used to drive the real-time statistical displays. With additional enhancements, SIFT may be used as general statistics generation, collection, and display tools for communication system capabilities. (Author)
