Abstract

This report covers the period from October 1981 through March 1982 of the manufacturing methods and technology program for ruggedized tactical fiber optic cable. The scope of this effort, as reported herein, includes the following tasks and achievements: (a) Low temperature impact study, (b) Complete fabrication and evaluation of confirmatory sample cables, and (c) Initiate low temperature fiber study.
