Elastic Domain Wall Waves in Ferroelectric Ceramics and Single Crystals.

Abstract

We have made measurements of the mode structure of bulk wave transducers in PZT-epoxy composites and developed a space harmonic theory of periodic composites that explains qualitatively some of the observed phenomena. Attenuation measurements have been made on PMN electrostrictor ceramic. A biased interdigital transducer has been designed and fabricated for surface acoustic wave excitation on PMN. (Author)
