An Evaluation of Alternate D062 Inventory Management Policies When Leadtimes are Random.

Abstract

This paper presents the results of simulation experiments to evaluate the relative cost-effectiveness of several alternate inventory management formulas when lead times are random variables. Actual Air Force demand histories for the CY71-79 interval are used to drive the simulation process. (Author)
