Implementation of Planned Change: A Review of Major Issues.

Abstract

Pertinent literature was reviewed to provide a perspective for the study of change in organizations. This review focused primarily on the major issues identified in implementing organizational change with special emphasis on the role of management in this process. Based on a review of the findings, it was concluded that implementation can best be understood in functional terms. Several Recommendations are made to aid researchers and practitioners in the investigation, application, and understanding of change processes. (Author)
