Abstract

The principal areas of research reported are: Functional and partial differential equations and their control and estimation; Hyperbolic systems of conservation laws; Continuum physics; Stability of nonlinear evolution equations; Linear and nonlinear dynamical systems and their stability; and Bifurcation theory. This report briefly summarizes results and refers to specific publications and reports previously reported to the U.S. Army Research Office. (Author)
