Strategic Requirements for the Army to the Year 2000. Volume IV. Europe.

Abstract

Provides global and regional requirements which will contribute to development of Army long-range doctrine, manning, force design and materiel requirements. Determines a range of environments which will likely confront the nation and the Army and identifies factors that will have major implications for the Army. Develops Army-wide strategic requirements and recommends general directions that the Army can take to meet strategic requirements. Analysis of the Western European region. Suggests new Army force structures for dealing with future strategic requirements. (Author)
