Multiaccess of a Slotted Channel Using a Control Mini-Slot.

Abstract

The multiaccess problem as characterized by an infinite user population and a time-slotted channel using a control mini-slot is examined. The input rate stability region of the proposed algorithm is determined and compared to the random access algorithm with the greatest known efficiency for the Poisson multiple access model without additional information. A break-even point is given. (Author)
