Temperature Coefficients of the Elastic Constants of Quartz.

Abstract

Algebraic expressions are derived for relating the temperature coefficients of frequency of crystallographically doubly rotated quartz plates to the temperature coefficients of the elastic constants. A new set of elastic constant temperature coefficients are computed, based on a 100-120 experimental point data set.
