The Measurement of Motivational Style: A Format Modification.

Abstract

The measurement of motivational style is extended within the framework of Adaptive Motivation Theory. The development of a revised measure using seven paragraph descriptions of motivational style is discussed. Response patterns for the seven styles are examined according to specific variables, such as age, gender, and occupation. The revised format is described as a more sensitive measure of motivational style, than an earlier version. (Author)
