Information Structures in Nash and Leader-Follower Strategies.

Abstract

The role of information structures in some Nash and Leader-Follower games is examined. By preserving the information structure of the full order singularly perturbed game, while solving the reduced order ones, reduced order near optimal strategies are obtained and well-posedness is shown for two classes of Leader-Follower games. Decision-dependent information structure is employed in both Nash games and optimal coordination problems and two market models of duopoly with this type of information structure are extensively analyzed and examined. Finally, sufficient conditions for existence of the solutions of both the stochastic optimal coordination problem with decision-dependent information structure and the stochastic Leader-Follower team problem with partial decision-dependent information structures are developed.
