Eulerian Current Measurements at Phelps Bank.

Abstract

An NRL remote sensing experiment was conducted in July 1982 to measure ocean surface manifestations of subsurface topography and hydrography. The central topographic feature in the operational area was Phelps Bank (40 deg 50 N-69 deg 20 W). This report presents the results of Eulerian current measurements made from a mooring on Phelps Bank during the field exercises.
